The mission of Evan's Life Foundation is simple: to reach out to children at risk. Grants are made in the following categories: educational assistance, medical treatment, therapy and counseling, abuse education, physical or mental disability assistance, AIDS education, homeless child services and emergency assistance.
We also specialize in considering small and unusual requests that most other Foundations would not. In the past we have purchased bunk beds so children did not have to sleep on the floor; coats, hats, boots and mittens to keep children warm and protected; bus tokens so children could avoid walking dangers streets, and summer camp experiences.
And because the Foundation is run completely by volunteers, 100% of the money donated goes directly into funding grants. It is important grant requests be for specific children-at-risk with specific needs. Unfortunately, although you may send a completed and worthwhile application, we cannot grant all requests. All grant requests are considered confidential.
